Ingredient
- 1 package (16 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Ready to Bake!™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (12 Count)
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups whipped topping
- 1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Step 1Bake cookies as directed on package. Remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack; cool completely.
- Step 2To make shortcakes, top 6 cookies with whipped topping. Arrange a few strawberry slices on top of whipped topping. Top with remaining cookies.
Recipe Tips
- You can use any ready-to-bake Pillsbury™ refrigerated chocolate chip cookies, if you don't have a package of Pillsbury™ Simply…™ refrigerated chocolate chip cookies.
- Other fresh fruit can be used instead of the sliced strawberries.
- If you prefer, you can place the strawberry shortcakes in the freezer and you have chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches!
